With the experience from the previous year, an oak has been felled with Linear Pottery Culture (LBK) adzes. Another oak was felled with a reconstructed wing axe (germ. Flügelholmaxt, of around 3600 to 2600 BC) and one with a Celtic iron axe (dated about 800 BC). All trunks were split and processed. The function and handling of adzes with a working angle of 115° was intensed and in contrast to the previous year, no significant tool failures were noted.
