For the 5th experiment, the workability of a roughly 8-year-old dried oak plank, placed under water for one year before the experiment was tested in comparison with an freshly split oak plank. Freshly dried sheep bones were processed to tools and tested. Furthermore, various winding techniques of the shafed stone tools, cleavage techniques, wood connections were tested, and the wells of the wells were further developed. In total more than 21 different axe and adze shafts were used.
